Hackathon Positive Partnerships

Hackathon Positive Partnerships

We are excited to offer an innovative session never before seen at an autism education conference – a Hackathon. For those new to Hackathons, they are fast-paced, problem solving events that guide participants through a series of activities in order to create new solutions to existing challenges. Our unique Autism Education Hackathon will allow participants to work together in teams to solve challenges of their own selection, based on their own interests and experiences. Teams will be formed at the event through guided activities, and will then be supported by autism and Hackathon specialists from Positive Partnerships to help create new ideas to enhance the education of students on the autism spectrum.

No preparation or pre-registration for the Hackathon is required – just look for the Positive Partnerships staff at the conference to indicate your interest in attending. The Hackathon will commence at 1:45pm on Thursday 30th August in the Glass Hub on the main conference hallway.

To receive further updates on the Hackathon in the weeks leading up to the conference, send an e-mail with your name and your school / organisation to: hackathon@autismspectrum.org.au

Autism is a lifelong developmental condition that affects, among other things, the way an individual relates to his or her environment and their interaction with other people.
